Alistair Driver, Editor, Pig World (Chair)

Alistair, a farming journalist for more than 25 years, is editor of Pig World and the Tribune, part of Mark Allen Agriculture. Pig World is the leading industry title, incorporating a monthly magazine, website and events, including the annual National Pig Awards and the successful Pigs Tomorrow conference. The Tribune is a specialist weekly market round-up, hosted on Staypost, featuring pig market analysis, feed market commentary and expert opinion. Alistair is also the National Pig Association's webmaster, updating the website on a daily basis and advising the association on communications. Before joining Lewis Business Media, Pig World's previous owner, in August 2016, he was political editor at Farmers Guardian for many years and, before that, worked for Farmers Weekly. He has been a regular farming media pundit over the years, commenting on industry issues on Sky and BBC TV news, as well as Farming Today and regional radio. Brought up on a Leicestershire farm, he now works from a shed in the garden of his home in Oxfordshire.
