Ralf Bishop, Premier Nutrition (Chair)

Ralph joined the Premier Nutrition poultry team as a commercial nutritionist in August 2020 and in January 2023 became poultry nutrition and innovation manager. Previously, Ralph spent five and a half years at Lloyds Animal Feeds working as a multi species nutritionist and before this studied biology and aquaculture at the University of Plymouth, graduating with an MSc in 2014. Ralph and the Premier Nutrition poultry team are responsible for offering technical support to the poultry industry focused on nutrition, formulation, milling and overall poultry performance both within the UK and abroad. Ralph is particularly passionate about optimising all aspects of poultry performance and precision nutrition to unlock the potential of modern genetics in the context of welfare and sustainability.
