Nick Allen, Chief Executive, British Egg Industry Council

Nick Allen became Chief Executive of the British Egg Industry Council in 2025, bringing with him more than two decades of senior experience across the food and farming sector. He previously led one of the UK’s largest berry organisations, Berry Gardens, where he developed a strong track record in delivering strategic and commercial objectives within commodity markets. He is now drawing on this experience to strengthen the British Lion mark and further the work of the British Egg Industry Council, helping to support the industry at a pivotal moment.
