Dr Marcia Vieira – Jefo Nutrition. Technical Services Specialist, Poultry & Swine

Marcia Vieira is an Animal Scientist with an MSc in Monogastric Nutrition from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She obtained her PhD in Monogastric Nutrition from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and completed a period as a Visiting Scholar at Auburn University, Alabama, USA. She carried out postdoctoral research in Swine Nutrition at Federal University of Parana, Brazil. Her professional experience covers monogastric animal nutrition and feeding strategies, with particular emphasis on nutrient metabolism, enzyme supplementation, and the use of functional feed additives to support gut health and animal performance. She currently works at Jefo Nutrition Inc as a Technical Specialist for Poultry and Swine. Her responsibilities include; technical advisory support to customers, design, implementation, and data analysis of commercial and applied research trials, as well as the delivery of technical training programmes and scientific presentations.
