Delyth Lewis-Jones, Head of Environment, AHDB. (WED)

Delyth was appointed Head of Environment for AHDB in March 2023 after spending a number of years as Head of Dairy Development Wales providing strategic and operational insight into the dairy sector in Wales to both Government and industry. The Environment Team covers several areas of work including climate change and net zero (emissions and carbon sequestration), as well as more livestock-specific areas like manure management and diffuse pollution. It’s a large area of work that also supports other AHDB activity e.g. marketing and reputation. She has extensive experience of working with the Agriculture and Food sector (over 25 years) as well as being strongly involved with rural issues and projects. She has a strong strategic and project development, management and evaluation background; as well as having a keen interest in behavioural insights. She also has vast and varied experience of working within both the public and private sector. Delyth originates from a farming background (sheep and beef) and is still very involved with farming in a personal capacity.
