David Neilson, General Manager – Chicken Agriculture, Avara Foods

David Neilson is the General Manager for Chicken Agriculture at Avara foods. He has worked in the industry for 25 years since leaving University with a BSC in Environmental Technology. His first job was as a 16-year-old working in a turkey factory packing turkeys at Christmas. When he graduated, he got a job working on a turkey breeder farm and here he figured out what he wanted to do for a career. After 2 years he got promoted to farm manager. He has done most roles in agriculture over the years.
