NW Resources expands into Poultry Bedding as it celebrates 20 years in business
NW Resources Animal Bedding Specialists is marking its 20th anniversary with an expansion into the poultry bedding market.
The company, which was formed in 2006 by former dairy farmer Neil Whittaker, has an established reputation supplying high-quality bedding to the UK dairy sector.
And now it’s now taking its expertise in animal bedding to poultry producers, at a time when the role of bedding in helping performance, hygiene and consistency is more important than ever.
The move reflects a natural progression for the business, which prides itself on always evolving to meet farmers’ needs and offering a first-class customer service.
“Over the past 20 years we’ve built our business on supplying reliable, high-performing bedding at affordable prices and developing strong relationships with our customers,” said Neil.
“Expanding into poultry is a natural next step for us. The sector is looking for consistency and quality and that’s exactly what we focus on delivering.”
NW Resources will officially launch itself into the market at next week’s Pig and Poultry Fair, which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th May.
Although it’s the first time at Pig and Poultry for NW Resources, it actually began selling bedding into the poultry market earlier this year having taken on a new team member with a background in the poultry market.
The Pig and Poultry exhibition provides an opportunity for the NW Resources team to meet poultry producers face-to-face, introduce its bedding products and demonstrate how its products can support flock performance and farm efficiency.
“Attending the Pig and Poultry Fair for the first time is an exciting milestone for us,” added Neil. “We’re looking forward to meeting producers, having honest conversations about what they need from their bedding and showing how our experience can support them.”
