Founder of Traditional Norfolk Poultry. With no farming background my ambition was to become a farmer, so I bought a few chickens and turkeys and grew them in my parents back garden in a way that I felt was nice. Free range, windows, perches, enrichment etc was how I thought it would be done but little did I know that back in the 1980’s I was ploughing a lonely furrow. But this proved successful and I followed my dream into the world of farming. Fast forward a few (or more) years and I have built a successful poultry farming and processing business having never deviated from my original growing methods. Today we supply all of the best high street retailers with their free range and organic chickens and turkeys and of course our iconic Norfolk Black Chicken which we bred and developed.
