Charlotte Evans, Pig Account Manager, ABN (Chair)

Charlotte entered the agricultural industry with an applied science background, holding a BSc in Biological Sciences and a PhD specialising in infectious diseases in pigs, funded by BPEX (now AHDB). She also gained practical on-farm experience working on a 1,000-sow pig unit. She went on to spend eight years with BPEX, working directly with pig producers on knowledge exchange and innovation and trial programmes. Since then, her career has focused on feed application to optimise on-farm performance, with roles including Pig Technical Advisor at ForFarmers, Swine Species Expert at DSM, and currently Account Manager at ABN. Charlotte is passionate about combining the technical and commercial aspects of pig production, working closely with feed mills, pig producers and business owners to solve problems and support the achievement of business targets.
