Martin Eccles, Trade Butchery Manager – AHDB

A butcher with over 40 years’ experience, Martin started his career in a high street retail environment where his passion for his craft was fuelled. From there he moved to one of the UK`s largest processing companies producing beef and lamb, gaining an understanding of demand for high quality products and how to utilize the carcass to maximise its value. Martin has a strong understanding across all species and strives to improve carcase utilisation, knowledge transfer and consumer satisfaction. He supports AHDB colleagues at international trade shows showcasing Quality Meat from Britain.
