Mandy Nevel BSc BVetMed PGCert (Vet Ed) PhD MRCVS, AHDB

Mandy is a veterinary surgeon with over 35 years of livestock experience. She trained at the University of Leeds and the University of London (Royal Veterinary College), and spent a year, post-doctoral, at the University of Saskatchewan before returning to the UK to work with Pfizer Global Animal Health. Mandy joined AHDB in 2017 to lead the Pork Research and Development team and became Head of Animal Health and Welfare in 2019. The team provides expertise, evidence and support for animal health and welfare across the Dairy, Pork, and Beef & Lamb sectors.
