Fergus is a pig farmer and Managing Director of Wicks Manor. Based in Essex and farming a 220 breed to finish sow herd, processing all farm progeny as well as sourcing in additional Red Tractor UK pork. Fergus has grown the Wicks Manor brand since 1999 to become one of the leading family run field to fork processing business’ in the UK. Customers include UK retail and foodservice as well as international export markets. Fergus is an associate member of the AHDB pork sub-group for marketing, was Chair of Governors for Writtle University College until its merger in February, is Chair of Essex Agricultural Society and a member of the Worshipful Company of Butchers.
