Richard Remmer, Pig Technical Manager, Trouw Nutrition

As the Pig Technical Manager at Trouw Nutrition GB Richard provides technical and nutritional advice and support to customers throughout the UK. This also includes the promotion and development of the NutriOpt precision nutrition concept with customers to improve pig production and efficiency. He has been involved in the feed premix and additive industry since 1987 working with all species but mostly pigs and poultry. Advising farmers and feed producers on maximising performance and profitability he has been involved in the continuing development of organic acid based feed additive products. Developing specific enzyme products to maximise feed nutrient availability whilst reducing feed costs. Furthering the understanding and use of omega-3 fatty acids in livestock nutrition.
