Mandy Nevel, Head of Animal Health and Welfare, AHDB

Veterinary surgeon with experience in veterinary disease, health and welfare of cattle, sheep and pigs, as well as vaccine development and pathology. She has a PhD in sow physiology and has over 15 years’ experience in academia and research focussing on disease and welfare of farmed livestock. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority following completion of a post-graduate certificate in education and is Honorary Secretary of the Pig Veterinary Society.
