Karen Halton, Dairy Farmer (Tue)

Karen runs the family dairy business along with her Husband Tom milking 530 ProCross cows. They also run a small on farm dairy processing unit and deliver to more than 650 local doorsteps which was inspired from selling milk from an on farm vending machine back in 2015. Karen won the Woman In Dairy, Dairy Industry Woman of the Year Award in 2020 which is just one of many accolades the farm has achieved over the years. Karen is very passionate to promote high standards of animal welfare and to inspire and train younger generations to join and thrive in the British farming industry. She also loves to promote milk and local produce by inviting the general public behind the scenes to showcase what the industry has to offer.
