Dr Tegan Whiting, Pig Nutritionist ABN

After gaining her BSc (Hons) degree in Zoology at the University of Southampton, Tegan went on to complete an MSc in Animal Nutrition at the University of Nottingham, focusing on pig nutrition. Since joining ABN in 2015 on the commercial nutrition graduate scheme, Tegan has completed a part-time PhD at the University of Leeds where her research investigated the effect of new generation prebiotics on grower pig performance and gut health. In her current role as ABN’s pig nutritionist, she is involved in the provision of technical support and the development of pig products for the UK market.
