Dr Beat Thomann, University of Liverpool

Dr Beat Thomann is a senior research assistant working in animal health economics and veterinary epidemiology in the department of clinical research and public health at the University of Bern, Switzerland and an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Liverpool. Beat is from a farming family and has studied agricultural sciences at undergraduate and postgraduate level. His PhD in veterinary epidemiology focused on economic and epidemiologic evaluation of disease control programmes in Switzerland.
